Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band founded in 1996. The mastermind behind the band, guitarist Michael Amott, originates from death metal band, Carcass. It was initially fronted by Johan Liiva, later replaced by Angela Gossow in 2001. Alissa White-Gluz joined as vocalist in 2014.
