Il Divo is a multinational classical crossover group formed in 2003. The quartet comprises of Swiss tenor Urs Bühler, Spanish baritone Carlos Marín, American tenor David Miller, and French pop singer Sébastien Izambard. Concocted by music mogul Simon Cowell, Il Divo blends operatic technique with romantic popular songs, earning them numerous awards and selling over 30 million albums worldwide. Their self-titled debut album achieved multi-platinum status across several countries in 2004.
